Aurexis exists to make evidence visible. That rule applies to how we handle your data too. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

Aurexis is operated by Aurexis AI Private Limited (CIN U62013HR2026PTC144127), a company registered in India. This policy covers the Aurexis product, website, and related services we provide.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the product and keep a verifiable record of what was checked.

• Account data - email, display name, and authentication details when you create or claim an account.
• Push data - idea text, readings you choose, sealed records, and related product content you submit.
• Metadata - timestamps, record identifiers, content hashes, and seal reasons tied to a run.
• Usage & device data - coarse product analytics, browser/app type, and IP-derived region where needed for security and rate limits.
• Payment metadata - billing status and processor references if you pay for a plan. We do not store full card numbers.

What we never store

Some things are out of scope on purpose.

• Source code - we never store your repositories or file contents. Where integrity checks are needed, we keep hashes only.
• Full payment card numbers or CVV - handled by the payment processor, not by Aurexis.
• Advertising profiles - we do not build dossiers for ads or sell lists.

Why we use your data

We use personal data to provide and improve Aurexis: run validations, seal records, show evidence, authenticate you, prevent abuse, bill correctly, and respond to support or legal requests.

We do not use your idea text or sealed records to train third-party foundation models.

Registries and external sources

When you validate an idea, Aurexis may query public catalogs (for example npm and PyPI) and similar sources. Those lookups return package names, summaries, and links that we may store on the record as evidence.

Those registries have their own terms. We only request what the product needs for the check you asked for.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share it only when needed to run the service: infrastructure and email providers under contract, payment processors, and - if required - law enforcement or regulators with a valid legal demand.

Anonymous or aggregated statistics that cannot reasonably identify you may be used to understand product health.

Data rooms and investor sharing

If you choose to share a sealed record or data-room package with an investor or collaborator, that share is under your control. Recipients see what you explicitly grant.

Revoking access stops future views; copies already downloaded by a recipient are outside our control once delivered.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while your account is open. Sealed records are kept for the life of the product commitment you accepted when the record opened, unless you delete them where deletion is offered.

Security logs and rate-limit data are kept only as long as needed for abuse prevention, then deleted or aggregated.

How we protect it

We use encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege production access, and monitoring for abuse. No system is perfect - if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by law and with practical next steps.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

• Export - download a copy of your records and account data where the product supports it.
• Delete - close your account or request deletion at privacy@aurexis.app.
• Correct - update profile fields in-product or ask us to fix errors.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some sealed-record fields may be retained in a minimized form if integrity of a public verification path requires it - we will say so clearly if that applies.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security, and basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; essential ones are required for the product to function.

Children

Aurexis is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data, contact privacy@aurexis.app and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated policy.
